I really want to thank everyone in the club and beyond who went above and beyond not only this past weekend, but all the weeks and months prior to put together such an outstanding series of event culminating in last weekend’s Mr. Anvil Phoenix title contest!

I want to congratulate our club brother Bloo (aka Wayne Kuwanhyoima II) for rising to the top and being found to most have what it takes to honor the title of Mr. Anvil Phoenix and bear the sash. You did a great job Bloo and I think speaking for everyone, we can’t wait to see what the next years brings for (and from!) you!!!

I wish to also acknowledge and thank Mario Smith for stepping up and stepping beyond his comfort zone to take the stage and begin to find for himself a real role and path forward as a Leatherman.

As a club we did an outstanding job on fundraising, with a check for $3500 going out tomorrow to the Leather Archives & Museum. I’ve attached a Thank You letter I composed to Billy Lane. It includes a break down of all the events we created and worked over the past few months along with our totals by event. It gives an interesting snapshot of what we can do together not only as a club, but as a magnet and rallying point for other clubs and individuals who align and work in partnership with us. The feeling of community and involvement I take from this weekend leaves me feeling humbled…thank you each and all!
